1. Who We Are

Section 9 Trading Post sells used IBC totes and IBC cages from Nora Springs, Iowa, and delivers across Iowa and the surrounding states. This policy explains what we collect through this website and what we do with it.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what you choose to send us through the contact form on this site: your name, your email address, your phone number, and whatever you write about the stock you are asking after.

We also collect standard website analytics, which tell us how many people visited a page and roughly where they came from. That information is not tied to your name.

3. How We Use It

• To answer your question about availability, sizes, or delivery
• To arrange a pickup or a delivered load
• To keep records of orders we have filled
• To understand which parts of this website people find useful

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers we need to run the business, and those providers are required to protect it.

4. How Long We Keep It

We keep enquiry details for as long as we are in contact with you about an order, and we keep records of completed orders for as long as we need them for business and tax purposes. If you would like your enquiry deleted, contact us and we will remove it.

5. How We Protect It

We maintain reasonable security measures over the personal information we hold. Paper records containing personal information are destroyed rather than discarded intact.

6. If There Is a Data Breach

Iowa Code chapter 715C requires a business to notify the people affected when personal information it holds is exposed in a security breach, and to notify the Iowa Attorney General when the breach reaches five hundred Iowa residents. If that ever happens here, we will follow it.

7. Your Privacy Rights in Iowa

The Iowa Consumer Data Protection Act took effect on January 1, 2025. It applies to businesses that control or process the personal data of at least one hundred thousand Iowa consumers, or twenty five thousand consumers where more than half of gross revenue comes from selling personal data. A yard this size is nowhere near either threshold, so the Act's statutory rights of access, correction, deletion, and opt-out do not apply to us as a matter of law.

That does not change what we will do if you ask. Contact us at any time to find out what we hold about you or to have it deleted, and we will act on the request. If you have received email from us, every message includes a way to unsubscribe.

8. Cookies and Analytics

This website uses basic analytics to count visits and understand which pages are read. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

9. Children

This website is intended for adults buying containers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.

10. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
